The route runs through the beautiful Karl Heine Canal (also known as Little Venice) and ends in Lindenau Harbor. There is a connection to the Elster-Saale Canal.

This beautiful tour is a must-do, and not just for architecture lovers. The varied route also offers shady sections and culinary stops right on the water. No other canoe tour encapsulates Leipzig's city life and charm more perfectly than this paddling route. The waterway is spanned by a total of 15 architecturally interesting bridges—no wonder Leripzig is often called "Little Venice." Along the waterway, you'll also see imposing factory buildings, Wilhelminian-era houses, loft apartments, and restaurants right on the banks.
