description: "On this special city tour through Delitzsch, a journey into the past begins. Numerous house plaques on historic buildings in the old town tell exciting stories about former times, important personalities, and urban life of past centuries. The tour leads along selected buildings whose plaques provide information about the year of construction, former use, or prominent residents. Whether former craft businesses, merchant houses, or residences of historical figures – each house has its own story. The tour makes history visible in the cityscape and combines architectural details with a lively city chronicle. Ideal for anyone who wants to get to know Delitzsch better and experience the historic charm of the city in an informative and entertaining way. Now history is brought to life with digital technology. The digital house plaque tour invites you to explore the old town of Delitzsch on your own and recalls the glorious eras of the small residential town. During a guided walk, you can discover the historic houses. The route runs from the Baroque Palace over Schlossstraße to the Halle Tower, through Ritterstraße past the Cooperative Museum to the Wallgraben, along the inner side of the city wall to Schillerbrücke and from there back to the marketplace via Schulstraße and once around the church."
