Children, young people and adults can learn more about the floodplain forest thanks to an interactive nature trail app on their smartphone or tablet. Exciting audio clips, pictures, videos and animal sounds await them at 14 stations along the circular trails. The stations can be reached via GPS and by answering quiz questions.

The tour starts at the Auwaldstation Leipzig Nature Park. Follow the White Elster river, take the next left turn, past the Hercules Monument. Then, cross the bridge that crosses the Neue Luppe river and follow the ecumenical pilgrimage route. Follow the path to the next fork, then keep left. From there, continue straight ahead for a while, then turn right at the next fork and follow the circular route. Then, turn right twice and you'll be back on the familiar path back to the starting point.

Arrival & Parking
From Leipzig city center, take the Georg-Schumann-Straße towards Lützschena.
Take tram line 11 or the S-Bahn (S3) to Lützschena. From there, continue on foot to the starting point of the tour.
