"Self-help, self-administration and self-responsibility" – an idea that has become intangible cultural heritage of humanity. The cooperative idea was the first German contribution ever included by UNESCO in 2016 in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The cooperative idea is mostly mentioned together with the founders Friedrich Wilhelm Raiffeisen and Hermann Schulze-Delitzsch and stands for freedom, democratic basic structures and values such as solidarity. 6. Continue along Ritterstraße past the **city clerk's house**, straight ahead towards the **Ritterhaus**
7. Leave the **Ritterhaus** on the left and continue to the house at Ritterstraße 45 (with its side wing extending into Badergasse; the small one-story house was demolished in 1975 and replaced by a house with a transformer station)
8. Walk back along Ritterstraße and turn left behind the parking lot into Milchgasse, continuing towards the market square
9. Cross the street to the market and pass the savings bank to the house with the sign "Copytext," Markt 11 (birthplace of Schulze-Delitzsch)
