This short route, which is actually a Access to the Lutherweg Sachsen On his travels between Torgau and Grimma, Luther often had to pass through this area. After the Reformation was introduced in Albertine Saxony in 1539, the town of Dahlen also opened up to the new faith. The first Protestant pastor was Jakob Osterland. In Dahlen you should visit the town church, inside of which you can find a 35m² fresco of Saint Christopher.

Directions
The path begins in Dahlener Kirchstrasse and leads along Schwanengässchen and August-Bebel-Strasse, which is also the ecumenical pilgrimage route to the market, before turning right onto Schlossstrasse and leaving the village with Dahlener Schloss. At the Gräfenhainer Mühle, the path continues north following the "Dahle" stream, directly past the mill and grass pond. You reach Schmannewitz via the "An der Dahle" path and Buchaer Strasse. Here you follow Alte Lindenstrasse, turn right onto a small path that runs along the "Dahle", and then turn left again on Schulstrasse. After the church, the Lutherweg turns right on Torgauer Strasse, leads past the old post mill and finally ends between the Alter Teich and Brückenteich.

Arrival & Parking
By car: Follow the A14 to the S38 in Grimma, take exit 14-Mutzschen on the A32. Follow the S38, Grimmaer Str., Dahlener Str., S24, Wermsdorfer Str. and take the S24 to Dr.-Alfred-Brehm-Straße in Dahlen.

Take the RE50 or S3 to Dahlen.
