The cycle path leads along the banks of the Mulde River through diverse landscapes and past majestic castles and palaces. In addition to the boot-shaped town of Döbeln and the Cistercian monastery of Kloster Buch, it also passes Mildenstein Castle in Leisnig. The old town of Grimma is also worth a visit. Due to its hilly terrain, the route is suitable for cyclists with moderate physical fitness.
