- Start: Muldebrücke on Uferstraße in Rochlitz
- Destination: Confluence of the Zwickauer and Freiberger Mulde near Sermuth
The last section of the route along the Zwickauer Mulde invites you to discover not only the varied landscape but also culturally. At the end of the route we are rewarded with the confluence of the two branches of the Mulde to form the Vereinigte Mulde.
The route mostly runs along paved paths and quiet roads. Due to the flat terrain and length, the section is also ideal for short day trips.

Directions
The starting point is the Mulde bridge on Uferstrasse in Rochlitz, very close to the swimming pool. We turn onto the path below the bridge on the left side of the Mulde and head north. We follow the path closely along the bank for one kilometer, turn left and drive through the allotment gardens. Before we reach the main road, we turn right onto Klinkbornweg. Here we take the asphalted, ascending path to the left at the next fork and follow this to the next T-junction. Here we turn left, right at the station square and then immediately right again. After 400 meters, the road turns into a path, which we follow straight on, under the tracks and over the Mulde, until we reach Penna. After entering the town, we turn left onto Am Ring and follow the winding path, straight on through Kralapp and left at the next priority road towards Colditz. In Colditz, we take the second exit straight on at the roundabout and immediately turn left. We follow Schulstrasse and turn right towards Untermarkt. We are now in the centre of Colditz with a view of the historic castle. Below the castle we continue north and turn left at the fork. The road now takes us to Kleinsermuth, 3 kilometres away. We cross the main road straight ahead and after 200 metres we have the option of turning into the distinctive Muldenweg, at the end of which we can see the confluence of the Zwickauer and Freiberger Mulde.
