Directions
The stage begins at Glauchau train station. From there, follow the Mulde Cycle Path, which leads through Reinholdshain and Kleinbernsdorf. The route then continues towards Waldenburg, passing the Luther Church and on towards Niederwinkel. Follow the Mulde Cycle Path to Hermsdorf. At the Wolkenburg Mining Association, cross the Zwickauer Mulde River, then turn right and cycle along the riverbank around Wolkenburg Castle. From there, continue to Tierbach. At the hydroelectric power plant, cross the bridge over the Zwickauer Mulde, then turn left and follow the path to Penig. In Penig, cross the Mulde again and turn right. After a short distance, turn right once more onto the Amerikaweg (America Trail), which leads to the village of "Amerika". From there, continue towards Arnsdorf. At the fork in the road on Rochsburger Straße, turn right and follow the road until just before Rochsburg. The route then follows the Mulde Cycle Path along the K8258 to Lunzenau. Passing the Lunzenau Local History Museum, the path crosses the Zwickauer Mulde river to the "Zum Prellbock" Railway Museum. At the train station, turn left and follow the banks of the Mulde until you reach Göhren, where you need to cross the Zwickauer Mulde again. Then turn right and cycle past the Göhren Viaduct towards Altzschillen. The route continues to Wechselburg, where you cross another bridge. At Wechselburg Castle, continue to the cemetery. Shortly after the cemetery, turn left onto the "Siedlung" road and continue past Fischheim and Steudten to Rochlitz.
