The new nature trail was opened in spring 2012 as part of the annual Zwenkau spring hike. A well-paved forest path, about 1,6 km long, allows you to explore the beautiful floodplain forest.
Starting from the forest pool car park, 10 panels provide information about the typical flora and fauna of the Eichholz. All users of the interesting forest path are rewarded at the destination with a wonderful view of Lake Zwenkau from the Eythra lookout point.
