TEDxHHL – Breaking Surfaces

TEDxHHL seeks to share inspiring & entrepreneurial ideas within the vibrant student community of Leipzig. Designed to stimulate dialogues through TED-like experiences. Dive into the TedxHHL spirit! Breaking Surfaces: The Oxford dictionary defines surface as “the outside or top layer of something”, the term can also describe the outer appearance of a person, thing or situation. In the same dictionary, the verb “to break” is damaging something or separating something into multiple parts. Taken together, these words convey the notion of breaking the surface of something, diving through or into it and uncovering what is behind or inside it. The TEDxHHL 2023 event aims at exploring different facets of the term “Breaking Surfaces” and diving into stories of breaking through the surface of the unknown, leaving the comfort zone and making new experiences.
