From 7–10 December, the town of Oschatz invites visitors to its Christmas Market in a festive atmosphere in the "Neumarkt" market square.
The town hall with its Renaissance gable designed by the famous Dresden architect Gottfried Semper, together with the beautiful townhouses, the "Gasthaus Zum Schwan" – one of the oldest inns in Saxony – and St. Aegidien Church form a beautiful backdrop to the Oschatz Christmas market every year. From 7 to 10 December 2023, the smell of roasted almonds, stollen, bratwurst and mulled wine will once again fill Oschatz's Neumarkt square.
You can look forward to a Christmas entertainment programme, a wide range of food and drink, vendors with traditional Christmas products, live music and a visit from Father Christmas.
