Advent Fair and Christmas Market starting at 1 pm on 3 December 2023 in Pegau
On the first Sunday of Advent, the historic village of Pegau rings in the peaceful Christmas season with its Christmas market in the festively decorated church square and the Advent Fair in the open Volkshaus. Here, delighted visitors can stroll through the lavishly filled rows of stalls and experience a wonderful variety of small gifts, decorations and handicrafts. The scent of fruity mulled wine and fresh waffles floats through the air at the church square, while vendors offer Christmas gifts and other small presents for sale. The town of Pegau has also put together a lovely programme for children, with an old-fashioned model train, a giant illuminated slide and a delightful crafting area.
The entire church square is closed to vehicle traffic from noon to 7 pm.
