The bridge over the Elster flood relief channel connects the two parts of Clara Zetkin Park.
To the southwest of the city's core is the popular Sachsenbrücke bridge, which connects not only the two parts of Clara Zetkin Park but also the city centre to the west of the city. Together with the Anton-Bruckner-Allee, it allows pedestrians and cyclists to cross the Elster flood relief channel without having to worry about city traffic, as cars are not allowed here.The Sachsenbrücke is also a popular meeting place for Leipzig residents to enjoy the surrounding Clara Zetkin Park.
