Due to the Schmeisser organ's susceptibility to malfunctions, it was technically rebuilt in 2005 by Georg Wünning (1983-).
It was not until 2005 that the organ was technically rebuilt by Georg Wünning (1983-). The facade from 1902 was preserved. The instrument was to be preserved in its sound substance and size. It was given slider chests with mechanical action. 17 voices from Kreutzbach's workshop of 1847 were reinstalled in their entirety, and about 8 voices from the Schmeißer firm have also been preserved. In total, the organ today has 36 sounding voices. The number of sounding pipes is 2207.
