Höfe am Brühl

Short facts

Since 2012, the Höfe am Brühl, a modern, inner-city shopping centre, has been inviting you to shop, stroll, eat and drink.

The Höfe am Brühl were built between 2010 and 2012 on the grounds of the former Konsument-Warenhaus at Brühl, which was demolished before construction began. The building complex's architectural concept echoes the history of well-known buildings. The former Lattermanns Hof, the Drey-Schwanen-Hof and the Plauensche Hof can be found in the newly built department store.

The 130 shops spread across a total area of 45,000 m² invite you to do some shopping and browsing. The Höfe am Brühl, with its characteristic and modern aluminium façade, is also a visual highlight in Leipzig's city centre. It unites tradition and modernity. The façade of the "Blechbüchse" ("tin can") was preserved as a Leipzig landmark at the head of the courtyards, as was a 15-metre-long remnant of the sandstone façade from the Wilhelminian era.
