Since 2014, Leipzig Tourism and Marketing has had the press newsroom at the Mynewsdesk news agency. Whether press releases, exclusive updates or event highlights – anyone interested in Leipzig and the region will find all key information bundled here. The range covers everything from updates on new hotels, restaurants and museums to festival announcements. Each release includes at least one press photo. Even those without an account on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & Co. receive the news from the LTM networks.
This is how easy it is to sign up: Click on the LTM newsroom and on the newly opened page select the “Follow” button at the top right, enter your email address and activate the link in the Mynewsdesk confirmation email.

News Agency Deutsche Presse-Agentur
For major nationwide topics and anniversaries, the distribution channels of the Deutsche Presse-Agentur (dpa) are also used. Through its subsidiary "News aktuell", LTM GmbH distributes selected press releases including press photos. This network reaches the most up-to-date and widest-reaching media outlets, both nationally and internationally. Since 2017, press relations have been supplemented by a publishing room, which ensures easy and fast forwarding of the most important news from Leipzig and the region via email or mobile notifications to subscribers. Multimedia communication through videos, PDF documents, or images enables journalists to prepare content across different media formats.

Since 2006, LTM GmbH has been working closely with the news agency Pressetext, Europe's leading online news agency. The distribution is carried out by email via LTM GmbH as well as to Pressetext’s approximately 98,000 subscribers as the "Headlines of the Day." All reports and photos published since 2006 are archived in the press section.
