Colditz Fairytale Castle Christmas

Colditz Castle will once again provide the festive setting for the 26th Fairytale Castle Christmas this year. Culture, tradition and crafts are combined in the historic ambience to create a special experience in Christmas splendor.

The Advent season can be enjoyed to the full in the cozy Hofstube by the tiled stove, between festively illuminated wooden huts with culinary delicacies or while browsing for lovely gifts in the vaulted barrels. There are special highlights for children: Mrs. Holle, dance programs and a visit from Santa Claus will make their eyes light up.

Culture and tradition await visitors in all the courtyards, while handicrafts can be admired in the barrel vaults. Food and drink are also provided - not only in the courtyards, but also in the atmospheric Christmas café.
