Colored vacation homes and apartments line the promenade at the Kahnsdorf lagoon on Lake Hain. In addition to the local boat rental, other stores and tourist attractions are also being built. In the town center is the manor house, which has been converted into an idyllic café and was visited by Friedrich Schiller. The municipality of Neukieritzsch is located on the Luther Trail Saxony, the Pleiß Cycle Path and the "Via Imperii" pilgrimage trail.

The campsite was laid out in terraces on the southern slope of Lake Hain and integrated into the prevailing landscape of oak and larch forests. Thanks to its unique location, the lake is literally at your feet and the view extends as far as the Kahnsdorf lagoon with its colorful boathouses.
