The Elster boat starts its tours of Leipzig's waters directly from the jetty at the racecourse.
Directly at Scheibenholz racecourse, the Elsterboot invites you to take a boat trip along the Karl-Heine Canal and the Weiße Elster. During the 90-minute tour, you will hear exciting stories and anecdotes about Leipzig's waterways and their surroundings.

With drinks and snacks provided and the stories told by the skipper, the trip is a great excursion for young and old. The boat, which runs on an electric motor, offers the following tours from April to October: city tour, floodplain forest tour, city and floodplain forest tour, city tour + Lindenau harbor.

Public transportation: The nearest stop is Telemannstr. (line 89). The destination is about 850 m walk from there. Alternatively, you can reach the Elsterboot by getting off at the Klingerweg stop (lines 1, 2) and walking approx. 1 km through the park.

By car: The destination is located in the south-eastern center of Leipzig and can be reached via Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz, Karl-Tauchnitz-Str. and Rennbahnweg. Parking is available on Rennbahnweg.
