Großpösna and its districts have now become attractions for recreation and culture. Not only the Störmthaler Lake with its numerous leisure opportunities such as the floating art project VINETA, the mining technology park and the network of cycle paths are worth a visit. The Oberholz recreation area with its nature, song and hunting trail and the botanical garden also attract nature lovers from near and far.
The numerous districts also offer attractions for those interested in culture. The medical and hospital museum in Seifertshain, which commemorates the health care at the time of the Battle of the Nations near Leipzig, or Güldengossa Castle are worth a visit. The organ in the church in Störmthal is also of particular importance. Organ builder Zacharias Hildebrandt, a master student of Gottfried Silbermann, built it in 1723. In the same year, this organ was inaugurated by Johann Sebastian Bach.
