Playground on the Fockeberg

  • Playground
At the foot of the Fockeberg is a playground that combines nature, art and adventure.

The playground on the  Fockeberg is a natural playground that blends harmoniously into its surroundings. The trees of the alluvial forest provide welcome shade, especially on hot days.

The playground offers fun and adventure for children of all ages. There is a rapid tube slide and a small slide, which are cleverly integrated into the slope. But the absolute highlight is a wooden horse designed by local artist Michael Fischer Art with a hollow space for climbing.

Visitors can also look forward to an appealing obstacle course, which is suitable for small children, as well as a great digging pit with a practical mud table. A small stone dinosaur is a reminder of prehistoric times and its original location in Clara Zetkin Park.

For those who are particularly lucky, the local coffee or ice cream van comes by on some days. The Fockeberg playground promises an exciting and varied play experience in the middle of the urban nature idyll of the floodplain forest.
