Swimming pool north
At the Schwimmhalle Nord in Kleiststraße, the little ones in particular get their money's worth: the "Robbe" children's outdoor pool is a heated paddling pool with a small slide, which is open in summer. While the youngsters can have fun in the outdoor area, the adults don't miss out either. Halle Nord offers five swimming lanes in a 25-metre-long pool, which is perfect for both recreational and club athletes. Access is possible by public transport, bicycle and car. The cafeteria can be used for a snack in between.
Whoever swims in the Schwimmhalle Nord also supports the environment, as the pool circuit of the hall has recently been operated by four high-efficiency pumps. This has reduced the energy consumption of pump operation by around 50 percent.
