Historic inn "Zur Wassermühle"

The watermill in the idyllic village of Höfgen near Grimma is one of the last preserved watermills in the region and can be experienced vividly. After exploring the mill with its technical display and museum exhibition, you can enjoy the mill flair in the historic inn (with beer garden) afterwards. If you are then in the mood for nature, discover the small herb garden with old fruit trees behind the mill or go on a mill hike. The approximately 7-kilometre-long "Mühlendreieck" circular trail not only leads past the Höfgen watermill, but also the Höfgen ship mill and the Schkortitz Paltrock windmill.
