Art Center Spinnerei
Since the end of cotton yarn production in 1992, a good 100 artists' studios and eleven galleries and exhibition spaces have made the site their home, forming a center of the Leipzig art scene that is unparalleled worldwide. One of the pioneers of the revival is none other than the famous painter Neo Rauch.
The Spinnerei tours are particularly popular, with several thousand visitors exploring the site and admiring the impressive exhibitions. In addition to artists, the Spinnerei is also a place for architects, designers, jewelry and fashion makers. The site also forms a large cultural center with the LURU cinema, the "Residenz" theater, print shops and the non-profit HALLE 14.

- By public transport: The nearest stop is Leipzig-Plagwitz (S-Bahn line S1, streetcar line 14 and bus lines 60, 64). From there it is approx. 5 minutes on foot.
By car: The Kunstzentrum Spinnerei is located in the west of Leipzig in the Neulindenau district and can be reached via Lützner Straße and Saalfelder Straße or via Käthe-Kollwitz-Straße and Karl-Heine Straße. Parking on the Spinnerei site is restricted to designated areas for a maximum of two hours. Social Media
