Astronomical Center Schkeuditz
The planetarium offers the natural representation of the starry sky and the solar system on the 8-meter dome - at any time and at any point on earth.
In impressive planetarium programs, you can learn lots of interesting facts about the sun, moon, stars and galaxies while listening to spherical sounds Comets, the Jupiter moon system, shooting stars (meteors) and artificial satellites can also be displayed in a lifelike way. When the sky is clear, you can observe the starry sky and the sun
The 32-seat classroom is used by numerous schools for astronomy lessons.
On the last Sunday of every month, usually at 16:00, public planetarium events are regularly held for children and adults. Booking is recommended.
