Auensee park railroad
The park railroad has been making its rounds on the 1.9-kilometer route around the Auensee since 5 August 1951. Stops include the train station and three other stops on Gustav-Esche-Straße, Haus Auensee and Elsteraue.
The train runs regularly from the beginning of April to the beginning of November on weekdays, Sundays and public holidays and is operated by children and young people in their free time. The station also offers a bike and sports equipment rental service during opening hours. A small sales kiosk with outdoor seating is also part of the station.
