With a history of over 1,000 years, the town of Rochlitz is one of the oldest towns in Saxony. Lovingly restored town houses, squares worth seeing and historic alleyways invite you to linger and explore. One of the most popular excursion destinations in the region is undoubtedly Rochlitz Hill (altitude: 353 m above sea level). Also unique and always worth a visit are Rochlitz Castle and the two churches - St. Kunigunde and St. Petri.
