European Youth Camp (EJC) Oschatz
Welcome to the European Youth Camp in Oschatz. Under the motto "Discover, Experience, Relax" you can experience varied and relaxing days in the bungalow complex in the middle of the Oschatz city area and yet in the countryside.
The European Youth Camp is a bungalow complex with 6 bungalows, which offers cozy accommodation for 44 guests. Created as exhibition rooms for the 4th Saxon State Garden Show in Oschatz in 2006, it offers the perfect location for school trips, group trips, conferences and private excursions from April 1 to October 31.
The 6 bungalows each have two separate accommodation units. Each accommodation unit is equipped with 2 double bunk beds or 2 single beds, a sitting area, shower and WC as well as spacious built-in wardrobes. There is also a fully equipped communal kitchen and further sanitary facilities in the mud house, where you can also wash and dry your laundry in an emergency. The barbecue area with seating, a training room and a large recreation room with billiards, table tennis, darts, table football and board games invite you to linger.
We are also happy to provide you with lunch, dinner or a packed lunch for on the go. Less than 100 meters away from the European Youth Camp is the Platsch leisure pool with water landscape and beautiful sauna village. The overnight price includes breakfast and admission to the Platsch water park and outdoor pool during opening hours.
Further attractions such as mini golf, e-carting, skate pool, zoo, labyrinth or pony riding are available in the O-Schatz Park.
The European Youth Camp is quietly located in the green Döllnitzaue.
A 5-minute walk and you are in the middle of the city center of Oschatz, where you can stroll, shop or eat ice cream. The European Youth Camp is also an ideal starting point for cycling and hiking tours in the Dahlen Heath and the Wermsdorf Forest or a ride on the "Wilder Robert" narrow-gauge railroad.
