German Museum of Photography
Framed by the futuristic architecture of the museum building, the Deutsches Fotomuseum in Markkleeberg houses a cross-section of the history of photography. Photographic works of art and milestones are on display in the permanent exhibition "Fotofaszination" and the changing special exhibitions. In addition, numerous cameras, some of them rare, from various decades tell the story of the technical history of photography. The perfect place for photography enthusiasts and those who want to become one.

- By public transport: From Leipzig main station, take the S-Bahn line S4, S5, S5X or S6 to the Markkleeberg Nord stop. Alternatively, take bus lines 65, 70, 100, 106, 107 or 108 to the Parkstraße or S-Bahnhof Nord stop.
By car: Take the B2/ A72 to the Goethesteig exit.
There is a free parking lot at the park entrance.
