Delicious chocolate creations in the heart of the city
Right in the heart of downtown Leipzig, the Goldhelm Chocolate Factory invites you to explore and indulge. In addition to handmade chocolate, pralines, and truffles, visitors can expect a wide selection of unique gift ideas, spreads, liqueurs, and other specialties made in-house.
During the summer months, Goldhelm is also a popular spot for NaturEis. The artisanal ice cream flavors are made from natural ingredients without artificial flavors or colors. During the summer season, Goldhelm is therefore also open on Sundays and invites you to take an ice cream break in the city center.
Goldhelm’s story began in 2005 on Erfurt’s Krämerbrücke, where chocolatier Alex Kühn crafted his first chocolates using traditional artisanal techniques and his own recipes. Today, these specialties are crafted at the Schokoladenhof in Wülfershausen near Erfurt using fair-trade fine cocoa sourced directly from cocoa farmers, fresh, seasonal ingredients, and a great deal of handcrafted work. From production to the careful packaging, all products are made in-house and stand for the highest quality, authenticity, and a distinctive flavor.
