Leipzig Music Trail

Leipzig has a unique density of original, preserved places of work of world-famous composers. The Leipzig Music Trail has made this musical cultural heritage accessible to tourists since May 12, 2012. Since the individual stations are not far from each other, you can easily explore them on foot. At each station, sound samples and information in German and English give you exciting impressions. You can also see the complete tour on a unique 360° panoramic tour.

The Leipzig Music Trail connects the most important original locations in Leipzig city center over a length of 5,1 km. Curved steel elements in the ground mark the ribbon that winds through the city center. You can start and end the tour at any station. The Leipzig Music Wheel also offers the opportunity to experience Leipzig's musical history in a sporty way and creates a completely different, great perspective.
