Climbing rock K4
Climbing in the middle of the city? You can at the climbing rock in Leipzig's Grünau district. The 21-metre-high climbing rock was built from concrete slabs removed from GDR high-rise buildings and offers both professional climbers and beginners 30 climbing routes of various difficulty levels. You can boulder on the climbing rock at a height of around 3 meters. Thanks to the modeling of cracks and coloring, the climbing rock blends naturally into its surroundings. The climbing crag is also used by the Leipzig section of the German Alpine Club for training its children's, youth and adult groups.
