Lindenau harbor

Boat tours
The Lindenau harbor is located in the south-east of Leipzig. It was built in the 19th century to connect the city with the waterways.
The harbor was originally used as a trading port, but over time it became an important transport hub. In addition to water sports activities such as sailing, kayaking and fishing, the harbor offers restaurants with a view of the water. A new district is currently being built here with new residential and commercial space, a new waterfront promenade and park space.
Since July 2015, the Karl Heine Canal has been connected to Lindenau Harbour and you can sail across the canal to Leipzig's Neuseenland.
