Martin Luther Church Sornzig
The Martin Luther Church in Sornzig is a large late Baroque hall church. It was built in 1808 to the north of the former Cistercian nunnery and has a roof tower with a baroque dome and lantern. Its interior was restored in 1987. Most of the furnishings date from the time of construction and are dominated by a magnificent pulpit altar with Ionic columns. A historic organ by Johann Gottlob Trampeli from 1810 with 23 stops is another important feature of the church.
