Möckern Manor House
The Möckern manor house now stands on the site of a former manor dating back to 1317. The estate is surrounded by extensive parkland and, despite its proximity to nature, is just a stone's throw from Leipzig city center.
After extensive renovation work, the manor house, built in 1855, has been restored to its former glory and is particularly popular for weddings and other events. In addition to the idyllic outdoor area, the magnificent Hall of Mirrors, the roof terrace and the rustic vaulted cellar are real highlights. The Möckern manor house, run by Hotel Michaelis, regularly hosts culinary events such as the Easter brunch or the romantic Valentine's Day dinner. A pearl in the north of Leipzig that is second to none.
