Mügeln Local History Museum
The permanent exhibition of the 100-year-old Mügeln Local History Museum covers the following topics: Town history with craft and industrial history, geological diversity of the region, traces of the people of the early historical period, Dr. Georg Schmorl. There are two special exhibitions every year.
Guided tours and city tours can be booked.
The museum is housed in the renovated "Old Girls' School" with an event courtyard and in the adjoining old museum building. An event room for 40 people can be used on the ground floor.
