Naundorf

  • Historical site
The municipality of Naundorf consists of 14 districts and is the south-easternmost municipality in the district of North Saxony.

The small community of Naundorf near Oschatz offers a quiet and green destination for leisure and active guests. In addition to the Jahnatal cycle path, which leads from Zschaitz to Riesa through the district of Hof, the small community can also be reached via the Döllnitzbahn train stop between Mügeln and Oschatz. In the district of Hof, you should not miss a walk through the beautiful castle park with a view of the old and new castle of the old manor.

Jahnatal cycle path

There are no significant climbs on this tour. This cycle route runs almost exclusively on special cycling and hiking trails. The route is therefore particularly recommended for families with children. The very good signposting with white-green signposts and the inscription "Jahnatalradweg" (Jahna Valley Cycle Path) show cyclists the best way.

Possible connecting routes on this tour are:
  • Eberadweg in Riesa
  • Elbe-Mulde-Radwanderweg am Stausee Baderitz
  • Muldental-Radwanderung in Döbeln

Döllnitzbahn

The Döllnitzbahn covers a distance of 20 km from Oschatz via Mügeln to Glossen and Kemmlitz. It passes 9 stations and 8 stops along the way. One of these stops between Oschatz and Mügeln is Naundorf. Following major construction work in the south station building in Oschatz, steam train rides on the Döllnitzbahn have been possible again since June 2016 and the model railway exhibition can be visited.
