Neues Schauspiel Leipzig is one of the young guns on the Leipzig theater scene. The Tante Manfred pub is the perfect end to any evening at the theater.
As befits Leipzig, the Neues Schauspiel in Lützner Straße also exudes a good dose of rugged charm and draws on the heritage of industrial culture. The theater opened in 2010 in the premises of an old printing works with a small but fine auditorium for 120 theater lovers. Modern and classic plays are brought to the stage here, often with an experimental twist. The audience loves it. The Neues Schauspiel is an ideal addition to the world of Leipzig's theaters and is definitely worth a visit. After the performance, there's a nightcap in the associated theater pub Tante Manfred - the perfect recipe for a successful evening.
