Regional market Geithain
The Geithain RegioMarket takes place every second Thursday (in the even calendar weeks) from 2 pm until the early evening hours on the market square. A colorful variety of regional produce and products is offered by local traders, producers and vendors.
And if you prefer it warm and sheltered from the wind, you are welcome to visit the RegioLokal on the same day! The RegioLokal, directly opposite the market square, offers a weatherproof sales area for vendors who don't have a van. It is also a great meeting place for local people - whether they want to enjoy a snack or a coffee and a chat. In addition to seating, a play corner for the little ones and an information corner as well as regional products, there is also coffee, cake & fresh ice cream with whipped cream.

- By public transport: From Leipzig main station, take the S3, RE6 (to Chemnitz Hbf) or RB113 to Geithain.
The destination is about 500m away on foot.
By car: Follow the B62 to the A72 in Markkleeberg. Follow the A72 to Rodaer Dorfstraße/ B7 in Frohburg and leave the A72. Follow the B7 to Markt in Geithain
Parking facilities: Numerous free parking spaces around the market square/ in the city center (parking time 60 minutes) - on Chemnitzer-, Leipziger- and Bahnhofsstraße
