Rennbahnweg playground
The Rennbahnweg or Rennbahnspielplatz playground, as it is known to locals, is rarely empty. It is one of the most popular and beautiful playgrounds in Leipzig.
The spacious playground has a wide range of play options with slides, climbing facilities, jumping belt, swings and an extra area for very young children.
On hot summer days, it is nice and shady and when the water pump is in operation, the playground is transformed into a cooling mud paradise.
You can easily spend half a day here, because the adjoining snack bar also caters for women's needs with food, ice cream and drinks.
Or perhaps you prefer a picnic in the adjoining green areas? Of course, Clara Zetkin Park has plenty of them.
A visit to the racecourse playground can of course be combined with a walk through the beautiful Clara Park along the Elsterflutbett and a break in the glass house or music pavilion.

- Get off at the Telemannstraße bus stop on route 89 and the playground is just a few minutes' walk away.
Very easy to reach by car via Schleußiger Weg and the B2. You can park on Karl-Tauchnitz-Straße or directly at the racecourse. Organization
