Stötteritz grove
There is a lot to discover here. The 17-hectare area is home to an old tree population consisting of the main representatives ash, hornbeam, small-leaved lime and maple. There are numerous paths through the forest that invite you to take a walk. The wood is particularly beautiful in spring, when the wild garlic sprouts first and then the cherry blossoms bloom.
There are two children's playgrounds, a duck pond, a large meadow and a toboggan hill, which was heaped up from rubble after the Second World War. Adjacent in various directions are the leisure pool, allotment garden with pub and the historic estate, where events and markets take place.
