Hidden away along the busy Holzhäuser Straße is a surprisingly large, green hideaway: the Stötteritz Magic Garden.
The grounds, which cover an area of 2.7 hectares, are home to natural meadows, a herb garden, a greenhouse and vegetable beds.
The Magic Garden is aptly named. The huge area offers many magical corners, tree houses, wildflowers and fireplaces. This makes you curious to stroll through the garden and see what is hiding behind the next shrub.
At the back is a pond, which has become home to snakes, frogs and toads.
Especially nice for school and kindergarten groups and summer family parties.
Our age recommendation: all ages, but for the nature education offer and independent discovery from pre-school age
