Torgau Castle Church

The castle church is the first Protestant church building in which the spiritual program of the Reformation was vividly implemented in architecture and art for the first time. Dr. Martin Luther consecrated it on 5 October 1544.


The town of Torgau is a stop on the Luther Trail Saxony.
