Town and Scales Museum Oschatz
The Oschatz Town and Scales Museum is located in the historic buildings of the council and official fortresses, which are directly adjacent to the old town walls, some of which are still well preserved. In this lovingly restored complex, visitors can experience the town's history at first hand. The exhibition of scales, which is unique in Central Germany, consists of more than 100 exhibits that vividly illustrate the development of scale construction from its beginnings to the most modern electronic weighing equipment. Of course, visitors can also determine their own "weight" here. The Zwinger garden is a great place to linger. Climbing the accessible city watchtower from 1377 is a very special experience.

- By public transport: From Leipzig main station, take the RE50 to Oschatz. In Oschatz, change to the city bus (line A) to Altmarkt. It is about 200 m on foot to the destination.
By car: Follow the A14 to S38 in Grimma, take exit 32-Mutzschen on the A14. Follow the S38, take Oschatzer Str. and Wermsdorfer Str. to Frongasse in Oschatz.
