From the heath village of Reudnitz, in the middle of the "Reudnitzer Teichkette" nature reserve, the scenic tour leads along the G-Weg to the center of the Dahlener Heide - the hunter's oak at a 6-way spider. In memory and homage to the Saxon Elector and King of Poland, Friedrich August, a memorial column was erected in 1763 after the last court hunt. The state-approved resort of Schmannewitz is reached via the Stauchitzer Weg. The baroque village church is based on plans by the architect of the Frauenkirche in Dresden. Also worth a visit are the rural museum, the renovated post mill, the animal enclosure and the forest pool with its giant slide. The rustic restaurants with their typical heath specialties invite you to take a rest. The way back takes the passionate hiker past the pump pond in the direction of the Käthe-Kollwitz-Hütte. Finally, the "M-Weg" takes you comfortably back to Reudnitz.
