Mountain church Beucha

Church
The fortified church in Beucha is a mountain church, the oldest part of which is the tower and sacristy. In the 19th century, a nave was added to the west, creating a "double church". It is located on the mountain next to a quarry from which the stones for the Battle of the Nations Monument in Leipzig were quarried.

The Bergkirche Beucha is home to a Schmeisser organ, which was reconsecrated in 2006. Guided tours and organ tours are available on request.
