South of Leipzig, the small town of Böhlen between Markkleeberger, Störmthaler, Hainer and Zwenkauer lakes offers an ideal excursion destination.
The modern and charming little town of Böhlen is located in the heart of the Leipzig New Lake District, south of Leipzig. It is an ideal destination due to its idyllic location between the Markkleeberger, Störmthaler, Hainer and Zwenkauer lakes. With its 7.000 inhabitants and two districts, Böhlen has a lot to offer.


The cultural centre with its adjacent cultural park is particularly popular for a wide range of events. The outdoor pool is also a real eye-catcher and is very popular.
