In this community garden, people not only garden together, but also celebrate, learn and experience.
On an area of 1000 square meters, people can garden together in the east of Leipzig. Querbeet Leipzig is a community garden that provides an opportunity for residents and anyone else interested to get involved with nature and food production in the urban environment of Leipzig's city center. The beds are divided up among the leisure gardeners. Bed sponsorships also exist for social institutions such as kindergartens. In addition to the daily work, Querbeet also hosts various events such as film screenings, educational days and concerts. During opening hours, everyone is welcome to visit the colorful garden project and the associated school garden on Bernhardinplatz without prior appointment.
