Pöge House

After the former residential building stood empty for many years and was left to decay, the Pöge-Haus was given a new lease of life by artists and architects in 2009. In 2014, the newly founded Pöge-Haus e.V. acquired the property to transform it into a living and creative space on its own initiative. Today, it houses a gallery-café, where art and exchange are the focus, as well as seminar rooms, studios and apartments for the resident artists. The Pöge-Haus sees itself not only as an art center, but also as a center for living and meeting in Leipzig's Neustadt district, where residents can play an active role.
