Eilenburg Zoo
The zoo in Eilenburg is small but mighty. Its more than 50,000 visitors a year testify to the quality of this Eilenburg gem. The four-hectare green oasis in the middle of the town park is home to 300 animals from 50 species. There is something for children to play with, stroke and discover everywhere. Visitors can also explore a nature trail through wetland and woodland areas. Throughout the year, the zoo offers lots of great events for the whole family. The spooky fun at Halloween or Christmas at the zoo is particularly popular. A restaurant in the entrance area provides refreshments. In the warmer months, it's a great place to sit outside while the little ones run around in the playground.
Note: Dogs may only be taken into the entrance area (open-air catering area) on a lead.
